How Mumbai Indian is Planning For IPL 6
Mumbai Indians is one of the leading teams of the Indian premier league. This team is owned by Reliance Industries, one of the leading names in the world. Currently it is being headed by Harbhajan Singh and the coach of the team is one of the most popular all rounder of Indian cricket, Robin Singh.
Initially the team was led by mater blaster Sachin Tendulkar .This was an eye catching part of the team. Moving on, Sachin decided to step down his captaincy. Finally this responsibility was transferred to Harbajan Singh who was the most eligible player for this post as he headed Mumbai Indians team in champions league T20.
Various sponsors and partners have a vital contribution to the team. The founding sponsor is Master Card worldwide, team sponsor is Hero Motocorp along with its associates. Some of the partners are Royal Stag, Dheeraj Reality, Kingfisher, Adidas etc.
Talking of the players, the team consists of some very good hitters, athletic fielders, good pace attack and fine spinners too. Their overall balance is their main strength. Two times they came very close but were not able to win the winners title. They were the finalist team in the third IPL and ranked third in the fourth IPL.
The Mumbai Indians squad for IPL 6 includes the following members:-
Harbhajan Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Dinesh Karthik, Rohit Sharma, Herscelle Gibbs, Kieron Pollard, Dwane Smith, Thisara Perera, R.P Singh, Munaf Patel, Clint Mckay, Pragyan Ojha, Richard Levi, James Franklin, Kieron Pollard and Lasith Malinga.
Mumbai Indians players have some of the best talent and amenities. In fact they have proved their position by making a cricketing history by winning the champions league T20. But unfortunately team hasn’t been able to lay its hands on the coveted trophy as yet. Hopefully they will repeat the history in IPL 6. IPL fans are eagerly waiting for their teams to make to the trophy.
One more thing which we can’t forget about Mumbai Indians team is their contribution towards education of the unprivileged. A simple wristband autographed by Sachin Tendulkar is the easiest way of supporting this Nobel cause. Hope their efforts would really make a difference.
